Terms and Conditions

Last updated: September 19, 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of readingtherepublic.org and your enrollment in Reading the Republic, a course offered by Access USA ("AUSA", "we", "us", "our"). By using this site or enrolling in the course, you agree to these Terms. Where a student is a minor, a parent or guardian must agree on the student's behalf and is responsible for the student's use of the course.

The course

Reading the Republic is a self-paced online course of six modules, delivered through this website. Enrollment gives one named student access to the course materials, exercises, and AI-assisted grading for four weeks from activation. Extensions are available on request at no charge. Access is personal to the enrolled student and may not be shared, resold, or transferred.

Fees and payment

The course fee is the one-time price shown on the home page at the time of purchase, payable in Indian rupees through Razorpay. Where a banking fee is added at checkout it is shown before you pay. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges. The payment page may also be used to pay invoices for other Access USA programs, which are governed by the terms of those programs.

Cancellation, refunds, and delivery

Our Cancellation Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping and Delivery Policy form part of these Terms.

Grading and the guaranteed place

Submitted work is assessed by an AI grading service against published rubrics, with the opportunity to revise and resubmit. Instructors may review and adjust grades. Grades are our academic judgement and are final once the course is completed. A student who clears the course, as defined in the course itself, earns a guaranteed place in a future live, credit-bearing American Constitutional Values course offered by Access USA. The guaranteed place secures admission to that course, not a waiver of its fees, and must be taken up within the period stated when the certificate is issued.

Academic integrity

All submitted work must be the student's own. Work generated by AI tools, copied from other sources without attribution, or produced by another person may be given no credit, and repeated breaches may result in removal from the course without refund.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and only to take the course. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, interfere with its operation, or use it in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful.

Intellectual property

The course, including its videos, annotations, readings, exercises, rubrics, and design, is the property of Access USA and its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. Course materials are licensed to the enrolled student for personal educational use only and may not be copied, redistributed, or published. Students keep ownership of the writing they submit and grant us a licence to store, grade, and review it for the purposes of the course.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Access USA and its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or the course. Our total liability for any claim relating to the course is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we will revise the date above. Material changes affecting enrolled students will also be communicated by email.
